Asperger Syndrome Is One Of Many Diagnosis Given To ChildrenThe diagnosis of asperger syndrome is often given to a child who has deficits in social areas yet they have language. Autism, Asperger, Pdd and ADD are labels that someone has given our children. Sometimes these children are referred to as children who have high functioning autism. Our children need our help to overcome. But we parents need help, to do all that we need to do, to have the strength and stamina to help our children. Where do we go to get our hope? Where do we go to get answers? How will all of this end? Will our children be ok? Will we be ok? I don't know where you have turned to for your answers. I personally, turn to God. I know that the God I serve keeps his promises. The Bible is filled with promises for us to know and experience. Numbers 23:19 says, "God is not a man, that He should lie, not a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?" God is incapable of reneging on His Written Word. We parents of special needs children can get very desperate to help our children. Desperation makes us vulnerable. Vulnerable to many false healings. My childs special needs reminded me how much I needed God. I need Him more than ever...don't you?
Parents Need To Stay Focused I know what it feels like to be tired, overwhelmed and scared. You must believe if you make the sacrifice that is necessary to seek out God and His answers, YOU WILL BE REWARDED. Life WILL get easier and your child WILL get better. Want to know more? Then finish reading chapter 1 in the book, Finding God In Autism. The book goes into more details and yet keeps it easy for you to understand and apply Gods word directly to your life. Short, simple and to the point truths that will help you every day. If only more people had short, simple truths to offer us...we wouldn't be so tired! Do not let the diagnosis of asperger syndrome (or any other diagnois for that matter) paralize you with fear. Do not let the title of the book let you feel like it doesn't pertain to you. Just substitute the word autism for asperger syndrome and I promise that you will be uplifted. It is time to trust God on this journey.
