God Is Right In The Middle!
by: Kathy Medina

God is right in the middle of all of this, isn't He? Yes, He is. I hope that you read my book, I'll keep checking in on your blog. There definately needs to be more exposure from those of us who are seeking God in helping our kids on the web. There is such a need.

It's a real eye opener when we parents get past the pain and shock of our childrens diagnosis to seeing and knowing that God has entrusted our kids to us. Finding that plan that God has for us to help us help our children.

I have watched (and worked hard!) at helping my son get well. It is a journey that has required me to "die to my selfish desires" and seek God. I am not the same woman that I was before my sons diaganosis. I am stronger, more humbled and more of a servant. Its an amazing journey with many rewards, many tears and hard won battles. But knowing that God is right here with me helps me to I learn new things all of the time.

I will say a prayer for you and your son tonight. Tell your testimony anyway that you can. Tell of the victories and of the unanswered questions but all the while sharing that your strength comes from God. Others need to see that you are living out your faith. That alone is a living example that everyone will draw to and find strength and courage from.

Blessings!
Kathy
